Paramedic Youth Camp Curriculum

Develop an understanding of what the roles and responsibilities are of a BCEHS Paramedic in our community.

Demonstrate an understanding of scene safety for themselves and others and how this must be at the forefront of all activity.

Demonstrate an understanding of a ‘primary survey’ and the skills associated. (AVPU, C-Spine, Airway, Breathing, and Circulation)

Obtain certification of the ‘Stop the Bleed’ course.

Obtain CPR certification.

Demonstrate an understanding of the effects and treatment of opioid use and overdose.
