Interpretive: Students will be able to identify a few words, signs, phrases, or cognates on a limited range of familiar contexts.

Interpersonal: Students will be able to communicate using a variety of practiced or memorized words, simple sentences, and/ or questions.

Presentational: Students will be able to present information on familiar topics using a variety of practiced words, phrases, and/ or simple sentences.

Cultural Awareness: Students will be able to identify and use appropriate social practices of the target culture at a survival level.
